Hike for Ukraine

When we ran this event, the people in Ukraine had already been suffering from the unjust war for 14 months. Bombs had ruined the homes of dozens of thousands, and the lives of millions, including children, had been broken. Many organisations and activists around the world were joining their efforts to help those in need.

To contribute to this joint effort, we organised a 40k-in-one-day hiking challenge. All funds raised were be split equally between the UNICEF Ireland’s campaign 'Ukraine War' and the Irish Red Cross ‘Ukraine Crisis’ emergency appeal to help Ukrainian families who became victims of this war.
